I'm not relating to the pricing scheme, but to the production values: Planetside 2 feels "cheap". Lots of good ideas from other games, but the general feel is the production was cut-rate. Or rather, cut after production began, because there are still some great parts to be found - but nothing ever fully completed.
Pity, this could have been great. But Sony is only in for the money, right? not for the fun or the art. Oh well, it was worth a try.
